*Chicago* Free Classes at The Chopping Block (Merchandise Mart)

The Chopping Block Cooking School, with two locations in Chicago, offers daily hands-on and demonstration cooking classes for the home cook. Our classes are intimate and interactive, and subjects change monthly. Topics include seasonal, ethnic, healthy / vegetarian and weeknight cooking, entertaining, knife skills and wine tastings, plus our popular technique - oriented Building Blocks Series.

Come by in costume and enjoy a chilling wine tasting and scary snacks! Appetizers include grilled bat wings, bacon-wrapped cockroaches, skeleton mix, and deep-fried eyeballs.

Get the tips and tricks on how to neatly and beautifully carve your turkey on Thanksgiving day. We will also teach you how to prepare the perfect gravy to accompany your centerpiece.
